Understanding the Problem

Many users found it difficult to choose the right courses and skills to develop, as they were unsure of what aligned best with their career interests or personality. With so many available courses and learning resources, users struggled with the overwhelming number of choices and often felt disconnected from their learning journey.

A careful research-led approach

    • A 30-question personality quiz allows users to determine their personality type, career interests, and preferences.

    • Based on the quiz results, users receive personalized course recommendations that align with their unique profile.

Simplified User Interface

The mobile interface was designed to be user-friendly, with clear navigation and intuitive design elements that enable users to easily access their Personality quiz, learning materials and track their progress.

Results of first-round testing

The designs were finalised, the theories were laid out, the prototypes were built and we were ready to test. To ensure the tracking was working we ran a usability test with 6 users. This gave us valuable insight into the usability of the designs, but also allowed us to test to see if everything was working. These results represent testing with at least a 100 users per design.

Design 2

Difficulty in Personalizing Learning Paths: Without clear guidance, users often picked courses that didn’t resonate with their personal interests or career aspirations.

Design 3

Lack of Engagement: Users struggled to stay engaged with the platform due to a lack of personalized recommendations and tracking.

Outcomes

Increased Engagement:Users who took the personality quiz demonstrated a 40% higher engagement rate and were more likely to complete their courses.
